Payment / How to pay if you are not PayPal registered

You can buy using your credit or debit card even if you are not registered with PayPal. To pay by card just click on the PayPal icon button once you have finished shopping and when you enter the PayPal screen click on “don’t have a PayPal account” to pay by card. However, please note that although PayPal hosts the payment gateway here, we do not operate that gateway. For payment problems and issues, you need to contact PayPal direct via the PayPal website; they take a while to respond but are generally very helpful once your query gets to a help assistant.

What mode of payment do we accept ?

We accept international money orders [not overseas cheques], UK (British) cheques, UK (British) postal orders, UK (British) pounds sterling and Euros [to the sterling equivalent] in cash (sent well concealed at own risk), PayPal payments, and all major credit and debit card payments. To pay by PayPal or by card, click on the Add to Cart buttons and follow the instructions

If you are sending cash please use the currency converter above to check the exchange rate no later than the day before you send the money. You must send the correct amount, inclusive of postage. Make sure you post it well concealed – you could try neatly wrapping it in some tin foil paper and then putting it between postcards or pieces of paper before placing it in the envelope. Cash is sent at your own risk. We recommend that you send cash payments by a recorded delivery or special delivery mail service.

PayPal payments are received at : renaissancehenna@msn.com. To effect a manual payment if you are a PayPal account holder, or if you are ready to set up a PayPal account, go to www.paypal.com.

Please note that for payments made by international money order and UK cheques, goods will be dispatched seven days after receipt of your money order or cheque or upon confirmation of cleared funds.

Payment may be made by bank transfer for bulk orders – please confirm your order and contact us for our bank account details and swift code.

We only accept UK pounds sterling as a payment currency; to estimate the cost in your own currency use the currency converter in the shopping cart.

Please note that payments with incorrect shipping charges will be returned and we will not be able to process the order.

Bulk Orders

For bulk orders in excess of the quantities offered on our hair colour products and prices page you must either be PayPal registered or be able to send funds by bank transfer (do ask your bank to confirm their bank charges first), or by western union money transfer. You will need to e mail us first to tell us what you want to order so we can quote the correct shipping charge.

When do we dispatch ?

Generally, within 2 working days of your order being placed; but sometimes there are circumstances beyond our control which prevent this and we may therefore dispatch later than this.

Postage Charges + Delivery Timescales

Within UK

For purchases up to £20., we charge a flat rate postage charge of £2.99, regardless of the number of items purchased. Postage on purchases above £20. is set at fixed band rates calculated according to the total value of your order; postage starts at £2.50 on orders above £20, rising to a maximum of £12.00 on purchases below £100.

Postage on purchases of £100. and above is charged at a flat rate of £10.00.

All purchases are dispatched via Royal Mail’s first class delivery service.Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery from the time of placing your order.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no tracking of orders. We do offer a recorded delivery service which is available for you to select in the shopping cart when you place your order .

We do not accept responsibility for items lost in the post.

If you wish us to use a particular postal service please let us know; if you are a PayPal customer, then we can generally accommodate requests for particular postal options. We will send you an invoice for payment based on the postal service you want us to use and you will then send your payment to our PayPal account : renaissancehenna@msn.com .

Please email us regarding the cost of bulk order purchases over 2 kg in weight, delivery times for bulk orders dispatched via Royal Mail’s Standard Parcels Service will be, approximately, as follows :

between 3 – 10 working days

We do not carry insurance.

Same Day Home Delivery within London : We can deliver to your door if you live within a radius of approximately no more than 10 miles from E11 Wanstead ( please contact us to confirm your address and to find out if we can deliver to you). Payment must be made in cash on delivery. We charge £5 for delivery within a 5 mile radius and £6-£10  for distances further away. (Minimum order value : £40.)

Within EEC

For purchases up to £20.00, we charge a flat rate postage charge of £4.99, regardless of the number of items purchased. Postage charged on purchases above £20. is set at fixed band rates calculated according to the total value of your order; postage starts at £3.60 on orders above £20., rising to a maximum of £18.00 on purchases below £100.00

Postage on purchases of £100 and above is charged at a flat rate of £20.00.

Within the EEC, all orders are dispatched via Royal Mail’s Airmail Small Packets delivery service.

Within Europe please allow up to 14 working days for your order to reach you before making enquiries of your local post sorting office.

PLEASE NOTE : There is no tracking of orders sent via Royal Mails’ Airmail small packets delivery service. We do offer international airsure delivery options which offer tracking, and these are available in the shopping cart when you place your order.

Delivery times for bulk order purchases over 2 kg in weight will be, approximately, as follows :

Royal Mail’s Surface Mail Delivery Times :

Western Europe: up to 2 weeks from date of posting

Eastern Europe:up to 5 weeks

Worldwide : Any country outside UK and Europe

International customers, please check your own country regulations for any import or customs duties that you may have to pay. We do not know what duties may be imposed. On the international customs declaration form which we complete at the time of dispatch, we classify the products as “herbal hair colours and hair conditioning products” .

Please allow up to 21 working days for your order to reach you before making enquiries of your local post sorting office.

With the exception stated below, we will dispatch all worldwide orders via Royal Mails’ Airmail small packets delivery service.

PLEASE NOTE : There is no tracking of orders sent via Royal Mails’ Airmail small packets delivery service. Tracking is only available for the small packets delivery service with the Airsure delivery option which is available in the cart at the time of purchase – please select from the shipping drop down list.

Insurance

We regret we do not offer insurance. Largely because there is very little damage that can be done to a herbal powder well packed and sealed ! For this reason we did not feel it was appropriate to add extra charges for insurance. The worst that is likely to happen if your package is damaged in the post is that the outer packaging will suffer, but the inner packaging containing the powder should remain intact under the worst conditions.

Manufacturer’s Product Liability Insurance

Our product liability insurance extends to the UK only; insurers, sadly, will not offer terms to cover the rest of the world ! This means, in simple terms, that in the very unfortunate event that you want to sue us and succeed in doing so – it’s never happened yet, in many years of business – our insurance cover will only pay up if you are a UK customer; if you are outside the UK our manufacturer’s liability insurance will not cover you.

Safety

Please ensure that you have read and understood information on our website regarding safety issue, dangers, and warnings. For many complex reasons, we are unable to guarantee safety, and we are unable to say if herbal hair and body products are safe for use in pregnancy or if they are safe to use for a particular medical condition; do take medical advice from your health care provider if you are already taking medication for a particular health condition. We also encourage you to undertake your own research into the safety issues surrounding the use of herbal hair and body care products in order to make an informed choice before purchasing.
